My second reason for buying my scrubs on Ebay is that I usually get a much better deal. That specialty shop you have to drive across town or across the state to buy from has what is called overhead. They have to pay rent, insurance, taxes, employees, an electric bill, and who-knows what else. What I do know is the cost of all those things are passed on to you along with the cost of the scrubs.
A typical seller on Ebay is probably going to be a home entrepreneur. They buy their scrubs and medical uniform items wholesale just like the brick and mortar shop or big-name online place, but they don't have all those other costs. They do have to compete for selling the best items at the best prices so I have found it is pretty safe to assume if a seller has been selling medical uniforms and scrubs on Ebay a while, they know how to offer you the best deal and have to in order to stay in business.
